With over 28 years in the long-term care field, Amy Thomas (Bailey) brings more than just experience, she brings heart. Her passion began early, rooted in personal loss and shaped by a calling to be present for others when it matters most.
Years ago, Amy witnessed her grandmother pass away in a hospital after suffering an aneurysm, a moment that sparked a vow between her and her mother: no one should have to die alone or feel forgotten during their final days. That moment would define her mission for decades to come.
Then, years later, Amy’s mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. But this time, the outcome was different. Surrounded by people who loved her, in a place where she felt secure, respected, and emotionally supported, her mother lived her final chapter on her own terms. The contrast between those two journeys deepened Amy’s resolve, proving that dignity, peace, and purpose don’t only exist in a family home. They can be honored wherever compassionate, informed care is present.
“Having walked both paths one filled with regrets, and one filled with meaning. I know how important it is to make the right choice when it comes to placement. And I want to help families do that with clarity, confidence, and peace.”
We understand how overwhelming it can be to receive a list of care facilities and feel unsure about what’s truly behind each door. At CareBridge Partners, we believe your loved one deserves more than guesswork.
Our team actively visits and evaluates hundreds of long-term care settings each year to ensure the environments we recommend meet our standards of quality, safety, and compassion.
However, in situations where a facility has not yet been vetted by our team, whether it’s been referred by another source or newly opened. Amy is personally committed to reviewing the facility’s history, compliance standing, and current operations. We will never recommend a setting blindly. Instead, we offer honest, unbiased insight based on what we uncover so families and professionals can make confident, informed decisions.
Peace of mind isn’t optional, it’s part of the service.
Amy has spent her career building trust across the care industry, as a former Adult Family Home owner, compliance educator, consumer advocate, and now as CEO of CareBridge Partners. Her strength lies not only in compassion but in her unmatched ability to navigate Washington State’s regulatory and logistical systems with precision and foresight.
From Medicaid eligibility, international relocations, and out-of-state family coordination. To questions about whether to choose a brand-new community or a seasoned care provider. To sudden changes like a facility ownership transfer or licensing revocation. Amy and her team are your guide through it all. They’ve supported hundreds of families and providers through some of the most emotionally and technically complex transitions.
Her team tours and assesses hundreds of care facilities each year, giving CareBridge Partners one of the largest and most up-to-date networks of trusted options in the state. In an industry that’s constantly evolving, it’s not enough to rely on websites or brochures. Her team steps foot into the facilities they recommend. They meet with administrators, observe staffing, understand community culture, and stay informed on each location’s strengths.
When you work with Amy and her team, you’re not just getting a referral. You’re getting a strategic partner who understands the paperwork and the people.
